Iroquois Ridge Community, Oakville
The Iroquois Ridge Community is one of the larger areas in Oakville, and is divided into two distinct districts, Iroquois Ridge North and Iroquois Ridge South.
The Iroquois Ridge North community has the boundaries of Dundas Street (Highway 5) to the North, Upper Middle Road to the South, Joshua's Creek to the East and Trafalgar Road to the West. This community has the conveniences of the Iroquois Ridge Community Centre complete with a swimming pool, leisure pool, fitness centre and library. The Iroquois Ridge North neighbourhood also has the Upper Oakville Shopping Centre, community park space and the highly rated Iroquois Ridge High School.
The Iroquois Ridge South Community borders Upper Middle Road on the North, Morrison-Wedgewood Aqueduct to the South, Parkway Belt to the East and Morrison Creek to the West. The south district is known as the Falgarwood neighbourhood which also has schools and parks. Iroquois Ridge South also had easy access to the Q.E.W, 407 and 403 highways which is especially beneficial to commuters.
Though the Iroquois Ridge North and South districts have different boundaries, they function together to provide a complete range of community shopping and recreational facilities to everyone in the community!
