An established community located in North West Mississauga on the west banks of the Credit River. Named after Timothy Street and founded in 1824, the village of Streetsville is home to Mississauga?s largest collection of designated heritage homes. Even though it is surrounded by modern suburban development, it has maintained much of its small-town charm owing mainly to the preservation of heritage homes dating back to 1821 - prime examples being Montreal House, Streetsville?s first General Store and the home of Streetsville?s very own founder, Timothy Street who built his house in 1825.
