Central Erin Mills was Mississauga's first planned neighbourhood. It was designed with rows of different styles of houses. Transportation is a dream with Highways in all direction. Public Transit is strong in this area leading to a Hub at Square 1 and Kipling Station part of the TTC. 

Erin Mills Town Centre is a shopping destination. This indoor mall is anchored by Wal-Mart and includes over 180 brand name stores and restaurants. Erin Mills Town Centre recently underwent a renovation and now features a new sun infused centre court and a new food court. You can also fine great dining through the area offering an abundance of differet cultural foods. Shopping is a mixture of Big Box stores to smaller Boutique and family business'.

Central Erin Mills offers a great community centre at Erin Meadows Community Cetre. There also numerous parks and arenas. Central Erin Mills was planned so that the community had someting for everyone. From the hikers ther are trails, the walkers great routes, to the bikers safe areas to bike throughout.

 Central Erin Mills was a planned community so the types of housing varied from all  the condos along Eglinton Ave. to the pockets of townhouses and semis to detached homes and luxury homes.  Most lots are a good size and most detached and towns are 3 and 4 bedroom homes with decent backyards. Most homes were built in the 1990's and early 2000's. The average price for a home is just over 1 million dollars. Condo prices tend to be very affordable averaging almost $700,000.
