Lorne Park is southern community in Mississauga. The neighbourhood is bordered by Highway QEW to the north, Lake Ontario in the south, Clarkson Road to the west and west of Mississauga Road in the east. Bought from the Credit 1st Nation in 1806 Lorne Park has grown into an incredible neighbourhood since day one. Lorne Park is a popular family oriented neighbourhood.
Lorne Park is surrounded by ravine, parkland and prime Lake Ontario waterfront. Jack Darling Park is one of Mississauga's most visited parks. Waterfront beaches and parks run along the length of Lorne Park. Playgrounds are in abundance in the neighbourhood. Lorne Park Hall is a historic community centre in the east end of the neighbourhood.
Transportation is great surrounded by major Highways and public tansit runs throught all main street as well a Go Station and busses nearby.
Shopping is in abundance on Lakeshore with quaint shops and restaurants.

Lorne Park consists of mostly detached homes. Beautiful tree lined winding streets boasts Lorne Park as Mississauga's premier neighbourhood. The lots are large and most houses with 2 and 3 car garages. There are still a few areas of semi's and townhouses but rare to find. We have seen condo's being built recently and the buildings tend to be luxury. Most condos are owned by downsizers of Lorne Park that want to continue to live in the neighbourhood. Detached homes average about 2.5 million, Semis are closer to $2,000,000, Townhouses for just below 2 million and condos are close to a million.
Many of the detached homes will sell for over 4 million and have 70 or 80 ft wide lots and from 130 to over 200 ft deep. Many lots are landscaped with pools. Most homes have finished basements with upgrades that have been done over the past 10 years
